EgoPlay Introduction

EgoPlay is a gamified consumer platform that turns everyday activities into interactive video challenges that feel like gameplay but serve a deeper purpose: generating egocentric data for robotics training.

By completing real-world tasks from a first-person (egocentric) perspective using either smart glasses or smartphones, users can earn rewards, level up through skill trees, and contribute directly to the training of next-generation robots.

Each user receives task prompts that guide them to perform simple, real-world actions such as folding clothes, cooking, cleaning, or organizing - all recorded from their own point of view. The key requirement is perspective: videos must reflect what the human sees and does, not what an external camera observes. Once recorded, submissions are processed and evaluated by Orn, which verifies quality, assesses completion, and assigns rewards in Vader Points (VP).

At its core, EgoPlay combines gaming, data collection, and token incentives into a unified system. It reimagines data work - traditionally repetitive and transactional - as an interactive, rewarding experience. Each task feels like a real-world quest, transforming human contribution into play.

By introducing leaderboards and skill-based progression, EgoPlay turns everyday actions into a dynamic, competitive experience. Users aren’t just completing tasks - they’re playing, improving, and advancing within a global community, while potentially earning additional side income through activities they already perform or enjoy in their daily lives.

The platform runs on an in-game reward system powered by Vader Points (VP). As users improve their performance and accumulate VP, they level up, unlock skill trees, and gain access to specialized leaderboards - progressing from simple individual tasks to complex, high-value contributions.
